Dr Umamah Tarvala

I have the great honour of meeting the distinguished Dr. Umamah Tarvala when I was rushed to A&E Department of Newham University Hospital last Friday. I was first seen by a Dr, whom I forgot to asked her name. She was so very accommodating and welcoming. Very sincere and empathetic to me that she immediately referred me to Dr. Tarvala, who is also as kind, accommodating, empathetic , caring and very patient, like her. In terms of being professional and delivering service, Dr. Tarvala, is the of the best, if not one of the greatest Doctor that I have ever had the honour to come face to face with. She works very swiftly and see to it that I am comfortable. She also made sure that I am not left to wait too long while she coordinated with the other Doctors. She took time to bring me some food when she knew that I haven’t eaten my dinner yet. This is the kind of Dr that we need in times like this. Very professional but with a heart of gold. I highly recommend her for her tremendous amount of support and care for her patients. More power.

Dr. Umamah Tarvala is the only Dr which listened and understood my problem i presented to A&E. Her work and care was 100% professional and fast pace. I came to A&E and other Doctors said you will be fine etc gone home take paracetamol. I asked drs to see the 5 second video so they can understand what im going through and they refused. When i saw Dr Tarvala she saw the video and said no you need surgeons ASAP and i had a surgeon Dr see me less than 20 mins. I appreciate Dr Tarvala hardwork and we need more drs like her.

From the beginning Dr Tarvala was very kind and helpful and was involved in all processes, she knows how to interact with the patient and her empathy allows her to understand to give the best solution to the patient. If you have a problem and you need to attend A&E you will be lucky to meet her.

Dr Tarvala took time to ask loads of questions to find the potential ums fall. We did not feel rushed, or that we were taking up time unnecessarily. We left with a lot of reassurance, and an understanding of what we need to be cautious with, and the conversations we need to have with the GP. Thank you for you patience and care.
